Your First Visit at The Hive
Welcome
We are so glad you are here.
The Hive is a reformer Pilates studio rooted in intentional movement, thoughtful instruction, and a calm, welcoming environment. Whether you are brand new to Pilates or simply new to our space, your first visit is designed to feel supportive and unrushed.
You do not need to know what you are doing before you arrive. That is our job.
What to Expect
From the moment you walk through the door, our team will guide you.
You will be greeted by name, shown where to place your belongings, and introduced to your instructor. Before class begins, your instructor will help you get comfortable on the reformer and walk you through what you need to know.
During class, you will be offered options and encouraged to move at your own pace. Rest is always welcome. Questions are always okay.
Before you arrive
Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early so we can welcome you and get you settled.
Wear something comfortable that you can move in. Grip socks are required for class. If you do not have a pair, we have them available for purchase in the studio.
Everything else you need is provided.
The Class Experience
Our classes are designed to feel grounding, challenging in a supportive way, and accessible to a wide range of bodies and experience levels.
You will never be pushed to perform or keep up. You will be guided to listen to your body and choose what feels right for you that day.
This is your practice.
After Class
Many clients feel energized after class. Some feel pleasantly sore the next day. Both are normal.
We will check in with you after class and answer any questions you may have. If you would like help booking your next visit or learning about class packs or memberships, we are always happy to help.
There is no pressure. Just support.
